Family owned, Oakville based, and personally run by Dave Ferrannini — the same person who inspects your roof, quotes your job, and walks it when it's done.
The Story
Castle Home Restorations started the way most honest contracting businesses do: one man, a truck, and a reputation to build shingle by shingle. Thirty-plus years later, Dave Ferrannini still runs it that way. The company has grown — over a thousand completed projects across Litchfield County and greater Waterbury — but the model never changed: the owner inspects your roof, the owner writes your estimate, and the owner stands behind the work.
That matters in an industry with a churn problem. Storm-chasing crews appear after every big wind event, sell hard, and vanish before the first warranty call. Castle's shop is in Oakville. Dave's kids went to school here. When we say a roof is Built to Last, we mean it has to last in front of neighbors we see at the grocery store — which is the strongest warranty a contractor can offer.
What We Believe
Honesty before revenue
If a $600 repair solves it, that's the quote. A third of our 'replacement' calls end as repairs.
The owner is the contact
No sales layer, no project-manager shuffle. You deal with Dave, start to finish.
Leave it cleaner than we found it
Magnetic nail sweeps of lawn and driveway, full debris haul-away, and a final walkthrough with you.
